Registration

Bank Payment Schedule (BPS), Courses Registration Form (CRF) and Students Information Form (SIF) are normally collected from the Dean’s office and payments are made at the designated banks. Students are to distribute copies of their BPS, CRF and SIF to appropriate places.

All aspects of the registration exercise have to be completed and the form returned to the various units within the time specified for the registration. Defaulters will be withdrawn from the university.

Matriculation

All students entering the university for the first time and undergoing the first year of degree course will be required to matriculate at a formal ceremony (presided over by the Vice Chancellor), which normally takes place after the registration.

The Dean of each faculty presents students from his faculty for matriculation while the Registrar administers the matriculation oath. Students are made to solemnly undertake (swear) to observe and respect the provisions of the Bayero University law and the statutes, ordinances and regulations, which are now in force or which may be brought into force.
After matriculation no student will be allowed to register into level I and II of any programme in the faculty
