The College of Natural and Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2018 and become an active academic unit of Bayero University, Kano in the same academic session under Professor Sani Muhammad Gumel as the pioneer Provost. At take-off the College started with three (3) Faculties which include:
i. Faculty of Life Sciences
ii. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
iii. Faculty of Physical Sciences.
The Faculties run 11 Undergraduate (B.Sc. and Pharm.D) and number of Postgraduate (PGD, M.Sc. and PhD) programmes.
A part from the Provost, there are two Deputies Provost and College Secretary. The Office of the Provost has seven (7) other staff members.
